Root [Sprint] Getting a new Note II

Doc

Android Expert
Well I will get my new Note II tomorrow and was wondering a couple things, it looks easy enough to root, but was curious as far as good rom, I'm very familiar with aosp and tw roms and was interested as far as what some of other peoples thoughts were as far as a good rom or stay with rooted stock....

Thanks in advance.......:)

Welcome to the future Note II rooted clan. with that being said, rooting is a Piece of cake, use the Toolkit, make it fast and simple. As for Roms there are many, the one I have been on since day one is Whompasaurus and I have no issues, so I can't speak about other Roms as much, but there are many to choose from, I will post you the XDA link, so you can scout them out, cheers and good luck and we are here if you need anything, just HOLLA !!

The Rom I am on, and is still on MA 7, and has not done an update since April I believe, but I still like it, it is a basic Stock Rom with Bloat taken out and some added feature, [ROM][Team WHOMP!]Whompasaurus Rom V4.2-Are we there yet?[AROMA][MA7]4/24/13

Ok after having my new toy for a day, I have already flashed three different roms, two TWs and one AOSP, the question I have is, which is better with 4 LTE, I noticed it does work better with the TWs and I love to be able to OC it lol (just me), but I do like the better speed with the AOSP, just curious if the TWs work better than the AOSP for 4 LTE. Thanks...:)

Me personally I get way better signal and speed with Tw custom rom's for some reason I get very poor signal with aosp and I constantly loose data.

I agree the only issue I have is when the 3g to 4g switches back and forth in a TW rom, its not as quick as the AOSP but your right lol.....;)
