Root [Sprint] Help help help!!! Very confused!!! Help help help!!!

My phone set-up currently is as follows:
ODIN root using NOTE 2 TOOLBOX (qbking77)
TWRP Recovery
Stock Rom
Custom Boot Animation and Audio
Beats Audio Drivers
A few other things are done but they are not worth mentioning

Here is where I get very confused:
Android verison: 4.1.1
Basband verison: L900VPALJC
Build number: JR003C.L900VPALJC

My questions are as follows:
How do I update these things? I want to be deoxed to change status bar icons, how do I do that? Also I want to change the sound for the lockscreen. I want it to say Droid when I swipe the lockscreen away! Lastly, I do not want to lose anything!

1. What are you looking to update? Official MA7 modem/baseband was recently released, you can update anytime you want. There's a thread over on xda that can update modem and all.

2. To be on a deodexed rom, you will have to flash that said rom and then you can change status bar icons.

3. You probably don't need to be rooted for the lockscreen sounds, I would search in the Play market for that.

4. 2 words, Titanium Backup. If you don't have it, get it. This app can save data for non-system applications and then you can restore from rom to rom. Contacts are backed up by Google.
