I have a quick question..
When using the sprint hotspot feature with 4g on it switches to 3g, is there a way for my phone to stay on 4g while using this feature?

you should be able to get 4g with the sprint hotspot. are you rooted?

Hello yes I am rooted. Wasn't sure if I had to go to some menu or something.

this question should really be in the rooting section.

but on that note, then the hacked hotspot will only work on 3g. it does not work on 4g. here is a guide to tethering on a rooted phone:http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-all...net-tethering-w-evo-4g-3g-wireless-wired.html. you can use the wireless tethering on 4g. it is found in the guide.
