Help Sprint Hotspot - endless problems...

I've been trying to turn on this Hotspot to connect my phone's internet to my laptop, and nothing is working so far. I have unlimited plan so it should be working. But whenever I turn it on, I get error code 67 or something. I can remove the error message if in my setting I disable 3g and 4g setting but keep the hotspot on - and even though my laptop says that it connects to the hotspot, there is no internet. Something is blocking it and I don't know what.

I've called Sprint...and even they weren't really sure what's going on, they sent me some kind of network update they said would fix it, but that did nothing at all.

Anyone have any ideas? I'd be very grateful.

the unlimited plan is for your phone data. you have to have a separate plan for the hotspot with sprint. Sprint Community: Plans: New Mobile Hotspot Plans and Usage Notification Options

it is not included with the unlimited plan at least not that i'm aware of.

is your phone rooted?
