Root [Sprint] How Do You Disable 4.4 Update Notification?

i just updated to stock 4.3 w/ root and my phone is prompting me to update to 4.4, which i don't want to do.

so how do i:
1) stop it from looking for updates
2) delete the update file it already downloaded?

hmm, strange. after rooting my SGExpress2 when I check sw update it says 'system has been modified', so I'm like banned from FOTA now, what device do you have?

and if you go to software update and uncheck "check for updates automatically", it doesn't matter also and it's prompting you to update the same way?
