Hello,
I recently purchased a used HTC EVO from a 3rd party. The phone has been rooted and my goal is to get this phone switched on to my Sprint PCS account. I went in to the Sprint store only to have them tell me that MetroPCS service is mapped on the phone? Excuse me for being Naive, I have searched a number of different threads and have read the flashing ROMs for dummies. The phone originally came loaded with Cyanogen 7 and I have since flashed it back to what I thought was the original Stock Rom found under the ROMS section. When I pull down the tab from the top screen where you can change USB connection type and USB debugging connection "MetroPCS" is branded on the header.
Also, the MDN and MSID still remain from the prior owners account even when I flash a new ROM
My question is: Can someone please point me in the right direction so I may get the phone back on the SPRINT PCS network?
Thanks,
Mike
