Sprint HTC Hero

So the Hero comes to sprint October 11 which is next week , but does anyone have any info about it's price. I'm already a sprint customer so does anyone know how much I'll pay for the Hero?

If you renew your contract for 2 years, you should expect to pay $179.00 after $100 rebate (which you bypass if you go to Best Buy), but you have to be within your "renewal" period to get all of the discounts.

that's what I have read - $429 without new contract signing.
