Root [Sprint] Is there a simple root for the Note 2?

[Caloy]

I'm basically just want simple root access so I can change the sound of the S Pen to a lightsaber. Thanks to TS, I can't sleep at night.

I don't want anything changed as far as functionality is concerned, and will be unrooting the moment I have changed the file I needed to change. So I hope, it would be a simple task unrooting after I've done what needs to be done.

Thanks in advance.

This method will give you root access and maintain stock recovery:

Here's my preferred method. It will allow you to install a stock recovery, among other things, very simply which may come in handy. It will allow you to make a backup recovery which you could store on your computer for safe keeping or whatever in case you ever need it.

Good luck! It's simple and painless and opens new doors for your device

I've plugged in some of the S-Pen sounds. Pretty simple task. Some of the light saber files are better than others. Here is the one I used:

Here is the link I got it from:

If you use the files, be sure to leave a thanks, if you use their zip :smokingsomb:

Setting the proper permissions is key.
