I have seen Sprint's update has been out for a few weeks. As of now, my phone says it is up to date.
How long does it take before it is fully released?
It's weird...I have 3 Sprint GS3's in my house...2 of them got the 4.1.2 OTA update but mine hasn't yet! Should I be concerned or just wait it out?

Again you can use Samsung's Kies to get the update.
I have checked with Kies, multiple times, and it does not show up. I suppose I will just have to wait a while longer. Not a huge deal.
Some devices get it faster than others even if they are in the same house hold.
Patience is a virtue my friend.
.As I said, not a huge deal.
You could also try using Samsung Kies for the update.
How would I do this?? I opened it up and saw nothing to do this. Do I need to download and install via Kies??
Thanks!
Plug you phone into the USB of the computer. Run Kies and it should connect to the phone. It will show you which version OS is installed. If there is an update it will show that below your current version. It will also give you the chance to update while connected. If there is one and you start Do NOT disconnect the phone until complete. Kies will let you know when you can disconnect.
I will check that out!! I have connected wirelessly but saw nothing other than a file browser.
Thanks again!
I think you gots to use the old USB for system/radio updates via Kies.
Unless I am missing something, I didn't see anything to do this.
I did end up doing the manual upgrade as explained in the video above!
Since installing the update to 4.1.2,I cannot send picture MMS. Other attachments (links) send OK, just not pix or videos. I've tried clearing cache in recovery, & factory resets with & without data backups restored. Nothing has helped.
The only other option I can think of is a fresh download & re-flashing of the update.
Any suggestions before I go this route? Or, is this a known bug w/o a fix to date?
THX!
Well if you haven't gotten the update yet, and you're not a fan of KIES. I would manually update it.
This is the best site imo for manually updating to 4.1.2. The video is super easy to follow and requires no rooting or any other funky things you have to do to your phone. Took me 15 minutes from start to finish and most of that time was taken up downloading the update. Haven't had any issues since updating manually.

A word of caution, this is only if your running stock Touchwiz. I you're rooted, I would check out XDA and see if there's an update to the ROM you're running.
