Sprint Jellybean Update - Rollout Begins 10/25!

Im in LA and I got the notification that JB is coming to my phone shortly (in about 2-3 weeks i think)and then I searched online, found someone just go to setting, application manager, all, click on google service framework, clear data, then go to software check now, can got the JB right away.
I gave it a try, after check now, the last check became xx/xx/1969 and I hit the check now again, guess what, I was downloading 37x.xx mb of file and now I have JB in my phone.
I am with sprint and my phone is never rooted or unlocked. some said you might have to do that clear data and then check thing serveral times, but I got mine on the first try and everything went smoothly.
maybe you guys want to give this a try. so far I saw some more features but I don't know how to use them yet, like google now and i heard there's S note lite and stuff, but I can't find it LOL
I did this several times and no luck, I guess I have to wait until it hits my phone OTA.

just tried the deleting data from google services framework trick, took 2 times but its dling now, cool stuff lol

so do i gotta clear it each time , or just keep clicking check now???

i am bugged it hasnt hit mine either

forget the :(....its more like :mad::mad::mad::mad:

Worked for me too. No root. I cleared checked twice and nothing. Then the update popped up!

I got the up date yesterday only problem I'm noticing is my battery life seems to be tanking really fast. I'm fiddling with the Google Now settings to keep it from always updating the location. I read somewhere here on the boards that was a fix for bad battery life.

So, I downloaded and installed the JB update as described in an earlier post.

Now....how the heck do I find and use Google Now ???

Anyone know how to set it up and where the settings are? I can't find anything.

just initiate a search and a card should pop up with search box and mike to speak instead. once up there are settings via the card. however, i just downloaded JB for my wife's LG Viper and there's no NOW??? very strange.

Are you sure that's JB on your wife's VIPER? I thought it just got ICS? Unless you're running a ROM on it.

My wife has not got JB yet.... We got our phones at the same time and are both on sprint. I received it 2 weeks ago. What should I do?

:dancing2:Finally received my JB 4.1.1 update OTA around 8:15 a.m. in Cali from Sprint. So much for that Nov. 16th date folks were talking about. I suppose there is still hope for Sprint users who have yet to receive it.

It only took 2-3 min. for the upgrade and I don't have any wi-fi.

I've been checking out the differences and the thing that amazes me the most is how much quicker and snappier everything works. To me, it's like having 4G even though I don't have it. Sprint is disgustingly slow at putting it in my area that is well over 600,000+ in population. Go figure.... :turtle:
