Root [Sprint] lg g2 brick

Dll but I figured it out the file dll they said to delete and replace ... i replaced it with another Dll ... ran the tool and back to stock thanks for the help. ..much to kind. .... cheers

The one that they have in their did not work followed every step I keeped doing it delleting and replacing it with the one they said and still same error so I grabbed one from a different thread on xda much smaller but it unlocked the tool and was able to flash. ... I did get an fail at the end but the phone seems to run ok. ......I don't get why it would have said fail all in red in the flash tool. ..

Mine did that too. It stops around 77% or something like that and said fail but it worked ok. I did use the posted megalock file and it worked ok for me but hey, I'm just real glad to hear you're back up and running. :)

If you'd be so kind as to post a link to the xda thread or post you got your Megalock dll from, it'd be appreciated. Might help another Sprint user down the line. Cheers and thanks.

hey I need tot. file for sprint lg g2

Again, credit and thanks to Autoprime of xda and the lg g2 channel @ freenode:

Listing of Stock_Firmware

.dll and .tot are both available there. The .tot files are within the lower-most listed zips. Up to you, but I usually just go back to the original zip. So in that case, it'd be the ZV7 one that was posted back in september, 2013 which is near the same time the .dll was posted.

I went ahead and flashed the g3 rom on the g2 d803...... ran pretty good decided to flash paranoid android......that was good so flashed gapps all of a suden she started bucking during boot got some cool looking lines across the screen that wont go away need to bring it back to stock send it out to get fixed,, but the way i did it last time is not working still have the tot file but dont seem to want to flash with the tool any more ..... any suggestion maybe im missing a step i get the flashdll and the tot in the right spot ports are set at 41 phone in download little arow yellow but wont go green for flash ... it says ready but its clearly not ..... is it a difrent method for the kitkat ...( forgot had to unplug it and plug it again to start the flash )

Tot is probably not available for your variant. If you have to use the kdz instead, THIS tool is most widely reported as successful.

I don't see a 16 gb Rogers d803 tot either so it may not have been made publicly available. There are plenty of kdz's available but most of the time people don't bother to mark them 16 or 32 gb so it becomes a crapshoot.

Im curently back to stock jb with the 32g tot lol still works im going to root and give it a go

Sounds good and yeah I'm afraid I don't know the answer to your downgrade need or lack thereof. Let us know how it goes! Stump Root would be the most likely working root I would think.

Can't remember if there was a tool for that or not. The way I remember doing it back on Jellybean was pushing a recovery image and loki, and then chmod loki and flash recovery via adb shell.

edit: we could do that if you want but I'm not sure if you need the Rogers or Bell version of TWRP for your d803, or if it even matters.
