Root [Sprint] Lost root?

So I noticed while I am running the current slimkat 4.4.4 ROM I do not have root access according to the root verify app and also when I test downloaded apps like titanium backup etc. Why is this? I tried installing superuser and it says my binary is out of date but doesn't allow me to update it via TWRP or CWM etc. I'm confused because the ROM works fine but now I don't have root :/

Here is a link to the latest SuperSU binary zip,Put it into your Download folder on your phone and boot to TWRP and install.
