Sprint Note 2 Multi-window update available in the next 5 days!!!

Just now i join Android forum but i am not getting where is and how to write a new thread ?

welcome to AF...

to start a new thread..
you have to be outside a discussion thread.. where you can see a list of threads.
there look for a button "new thread".. this button is right above the list of threads, to the left side.

Checked via the Firmware and Samsung software update buttons (under System Update). Nothing........

Wild question... The fact that I'm rooted (no custom rom) should not be a problem?

Lateck,

Lateck,

On xda everyone with root and a custom recovery it failed every time

Thanks for the link to the video DinoV, I just installed the update, and now my phone's restarting. ^_^

im still waiting too!!!

You don't have to wait. Doing the update manually is extremely easy. I came across it (youtube) almost as soon as he (qbking77) got it up. No way I'd wait for OTA when it's right here in front of me.

I know I said the manual update is extremely easy; which it is, but for anyone who is not comfortable or feels like they'll mess something up.....don't do it. Wait for the OTA. After all, we got this far.

Besides.....I'M NOT REPLACING ANYONE NOTES ......No really.....I'M NOT

I too tried, but I was Rooted and I did delete a few programs that the update needed.....:o
So I had to return to stock and then update.... :D
(Now I'll have to wait for a new root for this update)
But, anyways, I like the new update!!!

Lateck,

Meh.

I have the multi-window on my International and it's pretty disappointing... not the functionality itself, but rather there's only a small subset of apps that can be used. The number of apps available is locked down to a small number of preinstalled apps and there's no way to add other apps to it.

Hopefully the number of apps and the ability to add Play Store apps to the multiwindow will happen over time, but right now it's pretty much more form over function, IMO.
