Root [Sprint] Quick noob question (Repacking a rom)

I downloaded and unzipped a rom to remove unwanted apks and some ringtones/alarms/notifications then I zipped it back up and tried to flash it through TWRP but I keep getting install failed error. Is there a special way you have to zip it back up or another key process I am missing.

Flash the ROM first then in a file explorer remove what you don't want! Each ROM is built with a certain ringtone and notification ID and it will fail to flash unless they are there.

If you open the system build.prop it will tell you which ones.

Also if your deleting system apps it won't flash
