Sprint Release Date & Pricing?

The fact that Sprint allows unlimited mobile to mobile to any cell phone on any network is huge for me. Hell no one I talk to really uses a home phone.... I don't even have a home phone service lol.
 
Anyone else have a feeling we'll get a "coming soon for Sprint" Tuesday at the Samsung press event? I'm sure they'll announce T-Mobiles July 21st though. Possibly the AT&T Captivates date too.

I'm sure we will here something. I've spoken with the Sprint sales reps a few times and those idiots have me confused though. Both one of my friends and I have spoken with one that said that the Samsung rep came in and demoed the Moment 2. Then another one said that the Moment 2 was the Galaxy S for sprint. I don't know why Samsung and Sprint would release two android sliders around the same time, so this kind of makes sense. Perhaps the Moment 2 was just a concept device and they decided to go with the SGS instead?

I know that the sales reps are idiots, but both phones being the same does kind of make sense. If so, the leaked Sprint documentation shows July 11th (if I remember correctly) as the day the Intercept is being released...I guess we will find out in a couple of days.

Samsung Moment2 != Galaxy S Pro. I believe the former does not have 4G and it runs on lower screen resolution. These two devices are targeting different kind of customers. Sprint just offers more flavor for you to choose.

I hope you are right. The moment and the hero are dated hardwarewise. Being essentially first gen phones, their hardware just wasn't up to par for the types of functions asked for in smartphones. I'm not sure of the Moment 2's specs, but if it just has a little more ram and perhaps an updated processor (it's still decent now though) and it would be a beast of a midrange phone.
 
At least they've released the name Sprint

And hopefully the pricing and release date will follow shortly, if not tomorrow.

Well, it guess it could be awhile "Sprint will announce pricing and availability in the coming months"
