Root [Sprint] ROM Connections

Not so sure what you mean... in my experience the ROM has nothing to do with data connection.. apart from apns that is.. that power lies within your baseband. (Radio) and for now were stuck on 4.4.2 (if we odin an older tar at this point i believe knox may trip.. could be completely wrong.. the tar may not modify the bootloader.. and idk anyone that would take that kinda risk..
 
I suppose it couldn't hurt for me to download an old .tar, open her up, take a look around and see if I have to pull anything out. I could just make a flashable baseband.
