Root [Sprint] [ROM][MK4] SynergyROM | 11-28-13 r2

Going golfing later today, I will flash this tonight to see what happens, I assume it will work with TWRP ??

Did you flash any of the bloatware that he has in addition ?? Also did you restore your apps and data, or did you simply do a fresh install of all.

Nope I didn't add the bloatware zip and I did a fresh install and let playstore reinstalled all my apps ;)

No TB done...
 
I must be missing something when I do fresh installs I never get the Google to install apps and my guess is that I use 2 step verification so I have to login in to the browser first to use 2 step, wish there was a way to force the apps after I do login to Gmail :rolleyes:

Right, you will have to sign in at the very beginning and accept all there notices, I have no problem with it reinstalling what I have had from a previous build doing it that why:)
 
What I will have to do is set up a specific code for it, then do the install, then login to Gmail with that code, and see if that works.

Hmm so if I understand correctly you don't sign in when the rom first loads, can I ask why lol....
 
Well here is what happens, since I use Gmail 2 step verification, when I flash a new ROM, I can't login because it won't allow with the phone, I have to by Pass, then login from browser, then it sends me a text message then I have to enter that to login from browser, for it to recognize my phone, then I can login from the phone after that, but by then, it does not download the apps, unless there is a way to force download.

I could either turn off 2 step during a slash, or add the phone to the Gmail allowed apps and enter the password generated.
 
Looks like it would be easier to just disable 2 step during the flash and then enable it when your done, but that's just me lol....

Yep, or create a password generate for the phone only, and login in with that password. Disabling will be easier though

OK, Just flashed from fresh, Google is installing apps

Looks like I will have to flash the WiFi as it will not turn on, do you know the exact process ?? I will also read over at XDA to see.

Hmm mine worked but you will have to flash the wifi fix with odin ;)

OK, never did that, I assume you open the app on the PC, then flash the wifi zip through PDA ?? I don't see the steps in the Rom Thread. Any help would be appreciated.
By the way, the Play store download apps were not installing, just kept hanging, so I had to stop it, and I am restoring the apps through RomToolBox
 
OK, figured it out, will have to re install some apps as they force close, keep you posted.

Yea its not usual for them to hang, just stop then restart once all the others install.

Yep, once I stopped, they all stopped, as they were all hanging. So I decided to restore using RTB and I also restored the data for the heck of it to see. That did not go well, had to uninstall and reinstall again each app that forcecloses, but I want to try anyways to see, so we know for sure.

I will keep testing for a day or so, but WiFi is definitely not as good as my Mack Rom, and buy quit a bit, I have a Netgear AC router, and connect at 25Megs, once I get into the bedroom it drops to 2Megs, did not get that on Macks, not even close. But I will give it another day and see. I also noticed that service is not as good, mind you Sprint has been pretty pathetic here anyways within the past few months, so I will chalk that up to Sprint, but the wife and I went out to dinner last night, I have her on AIO wireless, she was connecting at 10 Megs about, and I was connecting at 0.12 megs, pretty sad.
 
Here's a good .zip for all the modems and recoveries together. That way people can test modems without tons of .zips on their pc's. download, flash and set up...[MO
