Root [Sprint] Rooted NC6, now how to get FoxFi to work?

Same story, can't find anything specific to the Sprint Galaxy S4 KitKat 4.4.2 NC6 build (included all that for the search engines) and getting FoxFi or other wifi tether apps to work on this build, rooted or not.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.svtechpartners.wifihotspotdemo is an option. I've used it. If you don't mind custom roms you can flash any aosp rom and get the option. Found in settings.apk under Wi-Fi and networks/more/tethering and hotspots..

Ridiculously long life with extremely heavy use..

Netflix all day.. some pretty high level gaming 3d mmorpg's like Celtic Hero's and Order and Chaos.. also been using my phone for all my development circles.. like XDA here at AF and AC.. just to name a few.. it's also my upload/downloader for everything I do.. so yeah heavy HEAVY use.. XD

I flashed it but I guess since it's a nightly it lags. It's also showing DIGITAL ROAMING and "R" up top instead of LTE. Looks kinda cool though!

but when I get this TWRP backup uploaded ever for ya... Lmmfao... you will be able to go to sprint zone and settings apps and redo all your updates like prl and firmware.. then you'll get this...

For your lag I'd try going to recovery and wiping davlic cache and cache. Then rebooting.. a few times. worked like a charm.. gives the system files another chance to sync libs and repository's.

Completely stock ROM, rooted with CF auto root. Finally found a WiFi Router app that worked but only after using the ## code that forces a network settings reset and reactivation of the phone.

No change on the non-working of FoxFi.

My sister is happy that she can now use her unlimited data phone as a hotspot to surf with her Galaxy Tab 3 that's limited to a gig a month.

Might I ask what exact app you used? From what I understand the community is still in the black about hotspots on stock..

Dunno if the Sprint S4 with NC6 firmware has to be rooted to use it, I'd already done that, but that app does work the tethering without paying the extra boot to Sprint. It has a ton of options and settings.
