I'm really new to android and don't know what to do. I have the sprint version of the victory running 4.1.2, I want to root it and install a custom recovery although I'm using a mac so no odin and no tutorials. I already downloaded the adt bundle for mac Android SDK | Android Developers .
Will I have to install heimdall to root and install a custom recovery? If so what will be different? Does anyone really know what to do?
