Root [Sprint] rooting for dummies

I am completely ignorant of how to do this. And truth be told I don't plan to take full advantage of all the benefits it may afford me. Truth is I only want to do it because I downloaded an app called apk to assist me with a game I'm totally addicted to called Dragonvale. But I can't run the app unless I'm rooted. I've been doing some reading on the subject though and I know I can really screw up my phone if I don't do this correctly. Please someone who can and is willing to break this down in simple, bordering on moronic terms, offer me advice. If it is too complicated to post in a reply then private message me to exchange contact information. I seriously need some guidance before I attempt this. :confused:
 
There are a few different ways to root the note 2. I used the note 2 toolkit version 3.0, qbking77 has a video on his site on how to root using it, he does a good job of showing step by step on how to root using it. He made the video when the note was on LJC but the method is the same wether your on LJC build or MA7 build. Give it a look at qbking77.com. If youre looking for written step by step directions I believe if you look over on xda in the sprint note 2 section there are some.
