Sprint store finally gets some evo's limited time only

Just saw this on Facebook too. The link is stupid though, just a link to their full list of phone.
 
At least they finally have some in stock though. My mom has been waiting to get one since late July because she wasn't up for an upgrade when it first came out. As soon I called her to tell her she was on the website getting one. I think these are going to go really fast.
 
UPDATE: still in stock, I just hope the people who have been searching like crazy click the link and order one.
 
Wow, I can't believe this. My phone is expected to arrive within the next 24 hours from now while I placed the order 10 hours ago. It's on UPS Next Day Air Saver.
 
I showed up at a Sprint store this morning (corporate store, not a franchise outlet) right when they opened... they told me they had ended their "waiting list" and the EVO's were now first come first serve basis, and that they'd call me when UPS showed up. I sat down at the starbucks next door, and had an EVO in less than an hour and a half. The guy that sold me the phone said the trick is to show up early at a corporate store.
 
Ordered mine Monday morning as well. Received it today. Just finished activating and setting it up.

Coming from a PALM Pre. Really impressed with the speed of the Evo.
 
Any idea how long it takes to get phones from Sprint when you sign up online as a new customer? I purchased a new 4 line family plan at just after midnight last night. All I've been doing is reading about the EVO since then...and I really want to get this sucker in my hands!
 
I ordered my evo last night around 11:30 8/30/10. I received my tracking number this morning. Expected delivery date 9/1/2010. I had called 5 sprint stores in my area. All i got was angry reps telling me to forget about the evo, it does not exist, 2 months away, dont call back, hang ups. Im kidding, but in all seriousness all the reps i spoke to were rude about answering a simple question. one guy, i said do you have the evo? and said no like 5 times while walking backwards and saying they are all sold out and will be , then retreated to where i couldn't even see him. my jaw dropped.
