Root [Sprint] Text message not transferred via Bluetooth

Just updated OS to 4.4.2. Now text messages are no longer sent via Bluetooth. Is there some new setting for this, or is this a new feature?
 
Text is 2G - the same path that voice takes. SMS has never been sent via Bluetooth. Are you sure it was a texting app you were using that was working over Bluetooth when your regular phone connection was turned off? Or are you saying that now texting over 2G doesn't work unless you turn Bluetooth on (which would be a major bug).
