Help Sprint to boost

I have a sprint samsung galaxy s II epic 4g touch and I want to use it on the boost network. I know that I can go and pay to have it flashed to boost but I have also heard that I can do this myself if I can figure it out. Any ideas? Could you point me in the direction I need to go?

I always check out youtube also - love to see it done step by step (& rewind-able ) if possible. **Edit to say - you have come to the Right place for assistance - hang in here & someone that knows exactly what you need will drop in sooner or later

It is sad but Boost is stingy about activating a Sprint phone on Boost, even though it is easy for them to do so. They basically lie when they say they can't do it do to programming. We all know it is already on the Sprint network and flashing to a Boost labeled ROM is as simple as using Kies.
