network.sprint.com will give anyone who's interested a better view of where their towers are. You'll even be able to see whether there were any upgrades to the tower in the last 6 months and any upgrades due in the next 6 months.

I have been reading a lot how sprint have been spending crazy loot beefing up there 3g speeds because of the iphone. Would we need an updated prl to take advantage of these changes?

Well This is quite interesting. I am looking at the map of my area it appears my phone does not connect to the nearest tower, I determined this by turning off wifi and GPS and then open Google maps. and My location shows up in the same area as a tower about 3 miles away. from my house. but the sprint map shows another tower less than a mile from me. I am using PRL60683. Does anyone have any ideas why this is and or how to connect to the closer tower??
