sprint tv not really that clear

So I was trying to watch the World Cup on my evo and the clarity wasn't that great. At times it looked good but others it seems as if my EVO couldn't keep up with the action. I thought this phone was a power house and that the TV streaming would be off the hook. Is it the sprint tv app? I tried to find settings but was unsuccessful. Is this just how sprint tv is going to be? Or is there a way I can improving it either with settings or another app. Thanks

You would think that this phone would be the shit for sprint TV. I'm actually pretty disappointed about that feature.

Hating on eieio...:)

it looked better on my old phone (Samsung Eternity).

It is probably a bandwidth issue. I don't have 4G and 3G has been <1 meg for me lately. doesn't work on wifi.

Its not the phone its the bandwidth. Sprint TV was never perfect or constantly clear on any sprint phone I ever owned.

Mine is stuttering on 3g as well, but on 4g it is almost TV quality.. I am sure the bandwidth is suffering with all the new users..

Even ESPN was having problem keeping up with the demand there was an article about it a few days ago.. I forgot the number of users but is was staggering..

Yea it works fine on 4g cause its more bandwidth.

I'm on 3g and it looks fabulous. I've already watched all the scyfy eps of "Caprica", past eps of Heroes on NBC's channel, finale of LOST, etc.

I haven't had any lagging and the screen has been very clear.

Sprint TV is super compressed...but it worked great for me (3G).

Can try watching on univison using SkyFire if you want.

One thing I noticed about Sprint TV though: if you exit out of the app then using multitasking to get back in, it shrinks down the max resolution you can see. You have to exit (by hitting back a bunch of times) and re-open to make the screen stretch all the way.

Sprint TV on EVO is not good as it is on my TP2. I'm watching both right now on 3g. I can't even clearly see faces. Wow disappointing....

It is more than manageable on 3g for me. Yes it is not crystal clear but it beats the heck out of not seeing it at all. Watching the US Open live right now on my EVO.

I am continually amazed at the things this EVO can do. Just 4 years ago during the last world cup I would never have imagined I could watch the 2010 action from South Africa live on my phone. Amazing.

the quality is decent, but i must say im surprised the quality just goes down, instead of consttant buffering. choppy videos in HD are worse than decent quality smooth video
