Sprint TV too small?

Has anyone else tried watching Sprint TV?

When I watch a video, the aspect ratio matches the phone, but the image only fills up about 60-70% of the screen, surrounded by black bars on the top, bottom, and sides.

Do I need to change a setting, or is that just how it works?

I think that is just how it works....I don't use it and actually wiped it off and out of my phone after I rooted it....it's bloatware and unless you are on 4g/wifi then the phone buffers too much IMO to really like it. I don't remember seeing a setting however that changed screen layout.

Thats just how it works. SprintTV stream that was made to fit all phones, even low res non-smart phone ones. So essentially they have a max resolution that will work with all phones without hogging bandwidth. If you notice you can shrink it. That's the actual size they push to all the phones. Even if you were able to blow it up to fit your screen, the quality will be really awful so I doubt you would even view it that way.
