Help Sprint TV widget and other annoying notifications

So, ever since I did the newest update(3.7 something, the one that put blockbuster on my phone) I've been having two problems -

1)I get a pop up once or twice a day saying the sprint TV widget has an unexpected error and needs to force close. I took all the sprint widgets off my home screens the first or second day I had the phone. I never watch sprint TV, it shouldn't ever be running. Rooting sounds pretty nice right now, but is there another way someone has found to stop this?(no, autotask killer is not an option)

2) DRM notification - license required. This randomly pops up as 2 separate notifications in the notification bar. No useful information if I click on them. I say random because it can happen while on the web(dolphin browser) or just scrolling across my home pages. I did a search and someone over on xda is pointing fingers at the blockbuster app for this same problem. So not only do I have to take your crappy bloatware taking up space, but its buggy too? Anyone else been getting this?

I did get a 2 DRM notifications when I was downloading some mp3s from my PC. It only happened once. I can't figure out what that was about.

Have you tried actually opening the app? Sometimes it just needs to be loaded once, then it will shut up. Otherwise, a hard reset will reload Sprint TV, and make it stop bugging you.

So I tried opening Sprint TV. I was on Wi-Fi, and I get this message right on start up -

"Sprint TV content can only be viewed over a cellular connection. Your active Wi-FI connection will be disabled in order to continue."

Its funny, because I just realized before I tried this, that the widget error message was tied to me turning wi-fi on(through power control widget).


The DRM notification hasn't come back lately, but I still get the Sprint TV widget force close 2-4 times daily..
