[Sprint] will we get 4.2 update directly from GOOGLE?

The update is coming but you will not get it directly from Google, it will come via Sprint, as sprint needs to test the update before they will release it to their devices. I would suggest to call Sprint and ask them :)

ooh ok so what if i have a rooted device? just toolbox it to unroot and update then go back and root? make sense?

You will need to unroot the device to receive any OTA updates...my device is rooted with Verizon with CM10 on it, and i never had the chance to get the official JB update through them.

I wouldn't bother with the unroot or the ota update. The devs will have a better version anyway. I believe there are two ROMs out now.

Never unroot to try and get an ota

1) working rooted versions are already available

2) custom ROMs better than any ota will be available when the ota is available.

Honestly I'm this close to saying f#@k 4.2 all together and continuing development on 4.1.2. This is the first time I've been truly disappointed in Android.

Honestly. I'm not gonna waste my time trying to unwind GOOGLE'S BUGS. Take bluetooth. I'm good but I'm not some Berkeley phd software engineer. And that's what it would take to fix this slop Google has released. This whole multi user thing leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I new nothing I did should be causing random reboot as I was on stock kernel. I'll drink a few beers and reflect on the matter. Overall I'm not a happy camper at this point. :crying::crying::crying:

seconded. 4.2 is a mess.
