Help Sprints international unlock not working

Sprints international team said they unlocked my phone, but I am in hong Kong and can only get voice. No 3g when using a foreign Sim card. Called sprint and they said once I am out of their service area they can't help me. My sisters iPhone gets 3g with the same Sim card?
. I tried putting in the stock Sim card and going to update and unlock while on wifi to o avail. Any suggestions?

What frequencies is that carrier using for 3G? Your note 3 does 850, 900, 1900 and 2100 MHz. If the carrier is using a different 3G frequency, the Note 3 won't get 3G.
