Help Sprite backup and home screens

Has anyone used Sprite to backup their home screens and restore them after a hard reset?

Launcher Pro can keep all your homescreen settings except for Widgets. It says as the system is designed it can't keep widgets.

Otherwise LP kept everything for my homescreens and Sprite kept everything else.

Then from my browsers I exported all my bookmarks.

Then AppBrain has all of my apps registered.

For the most part the replacement was a hassle but not a catastrophe

Thanks for the reply. I tried Launcher Pro but only had 3 home screens. Maybe I didn't do something correct and you can have 7 like Samsung's Touchwiz....

Yes. In preferences/Homescreen/Number of screens

Hopefully I am not derailing my own thread :p but how do you get to Preferences? I just installed Launcherpro and don't see anything in the app draw to launch preferences for it.

I think I found it. I had to add a short cut to my home screen, under Launcherpro Activities --> Launcherpro --> Preferences. I now see all the options you can change. buggerritt, thanks for the tip.
