Square trade - Car ran over my baby!

So my incredible just got run over in the intersection by multiple cars. I have square trade warranty on it and have already processed the claim.

I was wondering if anyone here has experience with a claim like this on and incredible and what the result was. Square trade says they will attempt to fix it but its demolished and I would wager that it cant be fixed. Anyone else turned in an incredible and had it fixed by them yet? Im tempted to go ahead and get one off ebay and hope square trade sends the check soon.

My experience with Square Trade has been great. I spilled a root beer on my iPhone 3g, which destroyed it. Called Square Trade and filed a claim.

Bought a new phone, and sent the iPhone to them. Had a check in 5 days.

Doing a good deed for a neighbor meanwhile they pulled off with my phone still on the car. I found it about a 1/4 mile away in the next intersection. Had to watch it and my seido batt. get run over multiple times before I could grab it.

DID YOU KNOW: Incredible's bounce when cars run over them at 35???? :-P

Also, I just put FROYO on it last night. FROYO ROOCCKKSSS!!!!!! or at least for the 2 hours I used it...

That's exactly why I don't do anything for anyone except me and mines ;)
 
I just found out some other info from square trade.

  • The warranty (2-years in my case @$115) is up once you make a claim. You will have to buy a new warranty on the new phone you buy with the re-imbursement check.
  • You can only warranty a phone against accidents if its bought directly from verizon. Ebay purchases are warrantied against failure only.
