SquareTrade Warranty

I just got a squaretrade warranty for my new nexus...had one on my OG Droid and ended up using it when the screen became defective, loved their customer service

edit: codes gone

if anyone needs information on squaretrade before using them ill pass along my experience

I wanna get this for my nexus. How was your experience? I emailed them bc their android service covers up to $599 and nexus is $649. They told me they would cover to $649 by making an exception if they couldn't fix my phone. Sounded good to me! I'm trying to find a discount code too :-)

It was smooth...they emailed an overnight label...i sent it tues afternoon and got it back friday morning...they had fixed my actual phone not a refurb...if they hadnt been able to fix it they would have paypaled me the value...deductable if they find you damaged it...i had rooted previously...simply unrooted and no issues

$124 for two years coverage....i always wait for a discount...they routinely offer 30% off...search google or get on their mailing list for that...the deductible is $99 if they determine you caused the damage...im not sure how they evaluate that but i had a screen issue that was hardware related so obviously not my fault...if you sent them a phone with a busted screen theyd probably charge you

Is this also insurance for if you damage your phone (included in the $124 price tag)? It isn't much cheaper than Total Equipment Coverage from Verizon, so I would hope that it is all inclusive. ($124 / 24 months = $5.16 per month vs. Verizon TEC at $6.99/month, but includes loss, damage, etc. in addition to extended warranty.)
