Stable Rom with Stable GPS

CyanogenMod 7.0.3 seems very stable with GPS usage. A friend of mine and I are both using it at the moment and have experienced no issues with extended GPS use.

AOSP Android 2.3 has been good too. I think they mostly fixed the GPS disconnection issues from the past.

Ohhhh Thank you mister eddie's father....

(sorry, I've had the urge to say that all day... Sixteen Candles... yes?)

Do I need to do a full wipe or can I do an upgrade on the 7.0.0

Just wipe cache and Dalvik cache. You can flash it just fine after doing that.

CyanogenMod 7.0.3 seems pretty good to me. Although the nightlies that include Android 2.3.4 have broken MMS for some odd reason.
