Well, I managed to root my N7000 without bricking it... and it even seems tb working normally.
Now I want to drive a stake through the heart of an app called "Google Play Music" that has been tormenting me with "... stopped..." dialogs.
But I want to be as non-intrusive as I can.
My guess is that somewhere there is a "Startup" list that I can edit and simply remove that app's name from said list without deleting the app.
Am I on the right track?

Fooling around with Titanium Backup, I see a "Freeze" option that seems to do what I want to do: render the application inoperative without deleting it.
Is this the way to go?
