Anyone else notice all of the default startup apps when the phone is booted? Is this to help speed up the launch of the app? Is there a way to disable the startup apps?

I'm using Advanced task killer and when the phone is first booted, there is about 10 apps running on startup - and only 100mb of memory left.. when I kill them all, I have about 180mb free.

I need to know this also... any way to keep all those att apps from slowing down my startups?

I would like to know how to disable these apps without "breaking" them or uninstalling them. I pushed them all to the last Apps screen, so the icons are out of my way.

I simply want to disable them starting on Startup since I never intend to
ever use any of the garbage AT&T forces on customers.
