Help Static in AUX port on sIII but not iPhone 5, any thoughts?

I plugged an RCA cable from my car to my Galaxy sIII for AUX which is in a proclip USA mount for charging but there is bad Static when I pause music on the s3 but NONE on my iPhone 5.

I dont think its the cable, any suggestions for the Galaxy s3?

Thanks,
Shane

Mine does that, too, but on mine I have believed it's at least partially because I use the car volume at max so I don't have to use much power from the phone, if that's even valid.

Yeah thats valid mate and if the s3 output is too low and having to be amplified by the car stereo then its gona have a lot of noise. Same if you have the output too high youre gona get distortion. I use my s3 as my home driver for music with a powerful amp and big speakers and the secret is to find a "sweet spot" for the s3 output volume

It must be picking up EM interfeirance or sumthin mate. Dont think ive ever noticed that
I am thinking that my EM interference is related to my ultra-cheap cable I'm using? I also wonder if shanezam203 has used all the same equipment as with the iPhone?

I had bought a $20 AUX cable from Radio Shack and had a lot of static and crackling noise and most of the time the sound would only be in 1 or 2 speakers. I took it back and just happened to stop by a Dollar General store on the way home and saw a $4 cable so I thought, WTF........turns out, it works incredibly well :D

After looking at the Amazon link above, I may end up getting this one..... Amazon.com: HomeSpot NFC-enabled Bluetooth Audio Receiver for Sound System: MP3 Players & Accessories .......just so I won't have wires all over the place.

Same AUX to headphone 3.5mm cable from the car and it is 100% on iPhone and poor on the Galaxy s3 ONLY when the s3 was plugged into the Proclip USA power dock. when off the dock, it was 100% like the iPhone.

I got a bluetooth adapter today in the mail for $20, I will try it and report back.

Hmmm.... Sounds like it's the dock rather than the phone.

Edit: Actually, maybe mine only is noisy with the charger in. I'll have to check on that. However, the noise is only when it's not playing.
