Help Static using Pandora via BlueTooth to a Sony Xplod head unit

revelry

Newbie
I've searched to no avail. I'm pretty good at tweaking options on electronics but I can't figure out why my EVO is doing this. No static on headsets either or my wife's Hero connected to the head unit.

I have a subscription for Pandora and tried both high and low quality. Any ideas or suggestions?

What about other sources on your EVO? Pandora, Slacker, stock player all stream fine via Sync's bluetooth (stock HU on my Milan).

yea are you experiencing the same issue with other online music apps such as the ones mentioned above?

first looks seem to suggest the bluetooth stack on your HU is not compatible with the HTC's BT stack..stil need more info...

but its so much easier to make a stupid "joke" than to actually work with the people trying to help

wow... would you like a shoulder rub to go with your anger explosion?

I understand your frustration at me not addressing what you suggested but I was not near the vehicle at the time and instead I made a "stupid joke."

I'll look into other sources and see if it still occurs and thanks for mentioning BT stacks as I did not know about that and now I have something to investigate.

So I tried the other things I had: audible, google's Listen, and the stock player and its only pandora. The Hero is HTC as well so not sure if they share the same BT hardware.

It's not necessarily static persay but more of a crackling.
