Help Status Bar Clock Help

Haha, no it's alright it's just one of these situations I get in where I'm convinced something is absolutely true and then it turns out it never was.

Ah well, I'll just have the big clock on my lock screen, nothing on my home screen but I might add a few shortcuts

There is a chance you might not be crazy  if it was there until a firmware update removed it, say going from ICS to JB.

Well I was having a nose around on Thursday night and there was a software update, wish I'd never updated it now! There's no going back is there

You could flash a previous firmware, but there's no guarantee it will give you the clock back.

Not really keen on doing anything to the phone like that, it took me a while to decide to get it it's my first ever contract phone and I'd hate for something to go wrong and they be all "we can't deal with this you've fiddled with the phone you owe us money" or anything lol

As long as it's an official firmware your ok, and won't void your warranty ;) :thumb:

It is a little daunting though, it's probably not worth doing just for the clock. Just try and continue to enjoy your new phone :)

It'll teach me to not update just because there's one available without finding out what it changes first lol

The home screen just looks so empty without a clock but I don't want to put one on there because it'll be different to the one on the lock screen which I have to use now since there isn't one in the corner lol but I'll just put a few shortcuts on it to fill it up, wallpaper of my dog to keep it interesting lol :D

Good ole doggy wallpaper saves the day :)

Id look for a nice clock widget for the homescreen.
I like Digiclock and ClockQ :) loads of different fonts and colours

Nor do I. I never had a clock on the lock screen status bar, only upon unlock. I suppose it makes sense, given the lock screen comes with a large clock by default, it would seem redundant to have two clocks running.

Have you tried to change the clock to the center and change the clock color to same color as background? That will "hide" it (it's still there but not shown) Only donwside of it is that when you pull down the Notification Bar it's gone from the top left along with the date. Try 3minit app to change the color color back to white and check again or to enable the clock on notification bar that way it shows in Notification Bar.
