I'd like to delete (get rid of) my GPS icon...

Can I delete an xml or something and still have GPS functional?

Try what? Try deleting an xml? Do you know which one for GPS?

Well one issue with what I did. Now if I enable gps the icon comes up fine, but when I disable it stays until I reboot.

Not a big deal as I usually have it off, and I'm sure I could delete all the images, but its not a big deal to me.

Btw, instead of deleting my original systemui.apk, I rename it to a .bak and leave it there. Set my permissions and reboot
