Root Status bar sticks and freezes phone!! Please help!!!!

My lg esteem is rooted and running deOdex debloated zve. My issue is that every time I click the power button and unlock it the status bar at the top comes down a little but freezes the phone and I don't even touch the status bar. Nothing works except push the power button to lock it then after I unlock it again it works fine. Someone please tell what I should do! It's so annoying and embarrassing!

best bet would to redwnload rom and do a fresh flash all over again,might b a bad dwnld,gv it a shot wat u gt to lose,let me kno how it turns out,by the way did you change any of the icons in the status bar with rom toolbox or any other app,that might cause a prob,just one more thing to think bout

I don't think Rom Toolbox would cause that, if not the rom itself probably a theme ?

I didn't do anything other than flash the rom. I have also flashed to the #2 rom and the freezing didn't happen but phone ran too slow so I went back to this one. Any suggestions on a rom that will make it go faster?

A couple months ago we discussed ROM Toolbox on a thread here, and from my point of view from having the app, causes the esteem to run slow and causes issues overtime. On another note, I experienced what you've experienced also and it happens occasionally. like fullbloodedmut said, try a full wipe, re download and re install. Also fixing permissions helps with that issue

personally i just deal with it although its really annoying :/..
