Help Status Bar Transparency

[Digital Legend]

Does anyone know of a way to darken the transparency of the status bar? I use BW Live wallpaper and during the day it is difficult to read the status bar because it is too light of a transparency. Appreciate the help!

Unfortunately the only way you will be able to mod this is by rooting your device.

You can use a launcher like apex and turn off transparency status bar.. Not quite sure if it will work as it worked for me on cyanogmod 11 but my m8 should be here today and I'll try
