Help Stay Awake without Draining Battery while plugged in

How do I keep the phone awake without draining the battery while plugged in? I used the StayAwake app, battery went from 100% to 67% in a few hours. Same with changing the Developer setting to Stay Awake.

Hi

If you are using a 2amp charger (as supplied with the phone from Samsung) it should charge up even with the screen on and gps running ( but only just) If you use a lesser usb charging source it will run down. If you are using the original charger and it runs down, you may need a new battery (or the charger is faulty)

Though I'd add that it also matters how many apps your running. Even with the 2A charger, I suspect you can pile on enough apps to drain the battery (since using the MHL cable (without an HDMI) charges, but when you start mirroring the screen it starts eating battery power)

That being said, my device checks like 5 different emails, has an 'always on' connection to my desktop for iRemote, Talkatone (always-on VOIP) and often Skype, with screen on, and I dont have a problem, so... *shrug*
