Help Steps to back up everything on Inspire?

How do i back up all of the data i have on my phone? Any steps i should follow because i am pretty annoyed that the decvice finder on htcsense.com isn't working and i'm pretty sure that it's the phone. I want to restore everything to the point when i first turned on the phone. I want to start all over again and hope that the device finder starts working properly.

what exactly are you afraid of losing?

if its contacts make sure you are syncd with gmail or yahoo

music is easy to back up

Adding to what blazeplacid said, you can also retrieve your contacts wirelessly when sync'd to Active Exchange (if your employment has it) or if you set up Outlook on your computer (though I do it via USB cable).
