Steps to clean up things before changing ROM and Kernel.

Please, let me know the sequence I have to follow before installing a new ROM and kernel. What should I clean/delete and how?

For instance, now I have CheckRom v4. When release 5 is ready, I would like to flash it but making sure all the cleaning steps were accomplished.

What if I want to flash a different ROM (any but CheckRom). Do I have to repeat same process or things change due a different ROM?

Are the steps always...
Get into the CWM recovery
Wipe Data/factory reset
Wipe Cache
Wipe Dalvik-Cache
Wipe Battery Stats
Wipe Data/factory reset
Wipe Cache
Wipe Dalvik-Cache
Wipe Battery Stats"

When flashing a ROM Does always a new kernel come with it?
Related to kernel, I go to recovery and clean things up with GS2Blitzer and then flash kernel.

Thank you!

What if I want to only flash kernel to root my stock ROM, do I need to clean up some stuff before I flash? If yes what are they?

Thank you,

Sorry but how do I run GS2Wiper? What are the steps? I couldn't find them

As per Hawker's first line in the post... "I have developed a cleaning script .zip file that is run through CWM Recovery.".

The .zip file is placed on either your internal or external SD card and is run by entering CWM Recovery and run by selecting, "Install from sdcard".

So here is what i've done so far and I hope it's all good, Please let me know if I did anything wrong

1. Flashed the kernel to root.
2. Installed GS2Wiper.
3. Re-Flashed the kernel again.

Is this correct?!

Not sure about your step #1 as all you needed were steps #2 and #3.
