Help Steps to get swype keyboard back as default

i some how went to swype keyboard and want to go back to my default on my htc evo 4g. ho win the world do i do it?

Go to a text message, tap it so the Keyboard comes up. Hold the screen in the area where you'd see what you've typed. An option should come up with Swype or the other. Pick the other.

Edit: Changed due to Today's update, just checked it for you.

Basically like I had said except it'll pop up with "A input method". Tap it. Then touch the "Touch Input".
Boom.

yea i got that but its not the same as it was. it has letters combined.

i figured it out its in settings language and keyboards touch keyboards then keybord types i has it set on compact..

Thanks I turned my Swype off and it was driving me nuts. I could not for the life of me remember how to switch these.
