Help STEREO capture

I want to capture Stereo signals on my Galaxy Nexus Prime and Galaxy Note phones using Audio Record.
But when do this the data captured by both left and right microphones is same(bit exact).
Is it possible to record audio in STEREO mode on Samasung phones?

Not with only one microphone.

No. There is only one input channel which is the mic. As far as I know, there aren't many phones that have true stereo sound for recording period.

Probably because for most purposes, if you need stereo sound recording, you would use actual dedicated sound recording equipment which are far better quality anyway.
