This is the Galaxy S4 I got many months ago. But only one afternoon, my S4 become drained battery from fully charged battery. But even worse, the phone is overheating!

If the new battery doesn't drain fast, your original battery has become faulty. It cannot be fixed.

If the new battery is draining fast too then yes, something else may be wrong.
