Help Still at a loss

Hey guys,I have this annoying problem with my bionic thats not on the bug list,when I do a google search by hitting the bottom right search button,google will come up along with the virtual keyboard and about 75% of the time I type something in then hit the arrow to search the virtual keyboard stays on the screen and the only way to get rid of it is to hit the bottom menu button twice,one thing I did notice is it only does this with the stock browser,it doesn't do it with dolphin,opera.etc. unfortunately I like the stock browser best,and it's just an annoyance,I've been trying to figure this out for so long,tried factory resets,battery pulls called verizon,no one can figure it out,id appreciate any insight thanks

When that happens to me I usually hold down the home button till my last few selected apps come up then hit the back button and the keyboard drops down.

It happens with both on the stock browser

On Swype, try hitting the return key on the Swype KB instead of the Go arrow in the browser. On my phone, it then makes the Swype KB disappear. The return key in Swype is the bottom right hand key.

So its safe to say other people are having this problem, how often does this happen to you,mine does it at least half the time I do a search, do you think the patch or ics will fix this?

I cannot make it happen on my phone, but I rarely use the 'Go' button in the browser / the go arrow after the search field in Google anyway.

I tried it 4 times in a row and it never occurred, so I gave up and posted back about using the enter key. instead as an alternative to see if it helped alleviate your problem.
