Yeah, I agree with you on this one. Sure, most people think that "bigger is better," but seriously when it comes down to it, for the average consumer, I personally believe that a 4.3" screen is a little too big. That's just my opinion though. I, and many others, carry their phones in their hip pocket, and I've imagined trying to carry around a Supersonic sized phone in my jeans pocket, and I imagine it would just be too large to do so comfortably. I think if Verizon gets the version of the Bravo, they have made the perfect "middle of the road" decision that will make the most people happy and fit the lifestyles of the most people. Afterall, they're trying to sell more phones to more people so that they can get more customers on their network.
Also, I LOVE the physical buttons on the Bravo, and I can imagine that the optical track pad would be very useful for navigating websites and clicking on links. Supposedly, the optical track pad is clickable. So, that would be very nice to clicking on little links that otherwise would be hard to click on with the tip of your finger, unless you zoomed in a long ways.
Overall, the Bravo fits my lifestyle the best. It may not for everyone, but it seems like it'd be a better phone, overall, for me than the Supersonic. Though, I have no doubt that the Supersonic is going to be an amazing phone as well. Just a little too big for what I'd use on a day-to-day basis.
And there it is.
All the build up and his out at the end is, "Well you guys were mean so I'm not telling you anything." I've been to this thread every day, 5-10 times a day since it started. At times I have thought newsradio was full of crap, saying he has all this info without one tiny shred of evidence to provide any credibility or anything to show anybody. At times I have thought people were too hard on the guy despite having no proof.
Now, when the pics come out differing from his description he pulls the "I'm takng my ball and going home!" crap. He obviously never had anything credible.
Hey Newsradio - You want to show up This Nash guy? Lay it all out there. Show everyone the info you have and make him look like a fool. That's how you win. Saying you changed you mind because people are mean can only lead everyone to one conclusion - that you knew nothing and were trolling for attention. Remember, I'm not saying you WERE, I'm saying that's all we got right now.

NASHDROID, the optical mouse will not suit you at all, when you have a android phone you will realise that you will be using the touch screen for about 99.9%(or a billion percent) the only time when you may use the OM is when you need to be really precise, but thats so rare,

@ newsradio, I don't have an android phone yet either, yet I know more about them then some of the people who own them. Just the other day I told a guy about dolphin browser so he could use the pinch to zoom. He didnt know about it. I do have to agree with nash, your sh** dont smell like roses so quit spreading it. You have yet to release something that has came about on a phone. It is also sad that you say nash knows nothing he seems to be a very bright person.

I remember someone saying that about VZW but what's that story from? So far I haven't heard anything official about VZW making an announcement. If it's a full blow "press conference" they usually invite the press and, like, tell them in advance to come.Love that we are seeing pictures.

I rarely comment on these forums. I prefer just to listen and learn. Ive read numerous post by you Radio and I just don't get you. You keep posting that you have inside info and you know more than us. So why are you withholding your info? Are you mad that people don't believe you? Are you just toying with us? People would not have to argue with you if you just gave us that facts. Am I right? I can understand maybe if your job or friends job was on the line, but why not just say so? This just leads me to believe your just having fun with us sense we kind of take this thing serious... U know we do have to spend allot of money on these phones.....and thats just sad to me. Nashdroid just don't listen to him anymore. Stop replying. Everyone stop replying. If he is right he is right and if he is wrong then whatever we get the laugh.
On the subject of the Bravo. Really, you think the Supersonic looks like a toy. To me it looks so solid. The front is all glass and there is barely any crevasses. The Bravo looks to be all plastic and it really looks cheap to me. I can definitely see myself squeezing the phone and hearing the plastic squeek from its poor quality. I obviously have not held the phone before so idk about the build quality. Im just going by judgement.

First of all, thank you (and others) for backing me up and helping me, on a daily basis, to not believe that I'm the only person in here who has any sense of reason/responsibility and accountability.
Second, I TOTALLY see where you're coming from on the Bravo compared to the Supersonic. I agree, the Supersonic does look more "sleek" and professional, and the Bravo does look a little more cheap right now. Maybe the Bravo will look better when we see a high quality picture of it. I kinda think some of the cheap look of it may be due to the photo quality that we've seen so far. Maybe not though. The Supersonic looks great, but I'd have to say that the rendered version of it may be the reason that we're thinking it looks so much more solid and sleek than the Bravo. If someone did a render of the Bravo (another one, of course, cause we've already seen an early render a while ago) I think we would view it differently. Maybe when we see the actual official product shot of the Bravo/Incredible/? it will look really sleek and solid as well, but I'd agree, right now the the pictures of the Supersonic that we have make it look like a nicer phone, build quality wise. Just my two cents, however.

You may not be aware, and if not it's just an honest mistake on your part, but the normal Android browser currently DOES NOT do pinch/zoom and multi-touch here in the U.S. It does in Europe/UK, but not here in the U.S. Example: the Nexus One AND the Motorola DROID do not, natively, do multi-touch. You can root the Nexus One now and do a hack on it and get multi-touch enabled, but multi-touch IS NOT currently available, out of the box, on any new Android phone that is not equipped with HTC's Sense UI. So...maybe it's just an honest mistake, but FAIL. See? I don't even have an Android device yet and I knew something you didn't know. Maybe I'm not a total idiot after all...

I'm not wrong. It is a U.S. vs UK thing. It's not enabled on phones here in the U.S., some people think, because Apple holds so many patents on multi-touch, that they asked Google not to. Here is an article that shows you what I mean, and shows that the Nexus One does not do multi-touch over here, or maybe anywhere for that matter.

This is because even when you turn of sense, you still only have the HTC browser. Same with the people and email app. You are just enjoying the luxuries of Sense UI (as we all should). HTC eliminated some stock apps and replaced it with their better version.

i have a feeling there big info though is just going to be apple related. here is what i see going down. they release the itablet for verizon and possibly at&t talk about the specs of it prices and right before the end they say o yeah and the iphone will also now be available on verizon kind of like the introduction of the motorola rocker when apple and motorola worked together on makeing the phone able to have a mp3 player on it and the end of the event they where like o yeah here we have this now an i pod nano. just remember watching that on the engadget show from the best gadgets of the decade

In newsradios' defense, we HAVE NOT seen a verizon branded bravo yet. Just look how they changed the touch pro2 design and went with the imagio(whitestone) device instead of diamond2. They changed the omnia2 for worse (i think). what else, they changed the palm pre, the eris(hero). ok, you get the idea. maybe he saw a version that verizon will use, who knows. Info please? thanks

What "us guys" hacked into your account then your computer and started posting confidential information? Please. You're the only one who released "details" with such incriminating information like "I was told in dec the incredible doesn't exist". That tidbit which could have only revealed your source NOT to be someone with HTC.
Quit your damn whining. Either put up or shut up. If you can't figure out a way to put up without revealing compromising information (i.e photoshop) then shut up.
