Still did not get the OTA anyone else?

Really if you have nothing to say to keep the topic going in the right direction just dont say it. There is way to many spam posts on this board and this is one of the unnecessary ones that just did not need to be made.
What, exactly, is the "right direction" for yet another thread posted by an impatient person whining about not getting an OS update? Honestly, I'd really like to know what you expected out of this.

You might be sorry you shared that info.:D No pressure, but I gotta ask...
Are you or her tech savvy enough to possibly share it?
Its fine if not. No pressure, but if the has not accepted it yet, you guys can really help a lot of people here by getting the information necessary for someone to post a link where everyone can download it rather than waiting for the OTA to hit their phone.

Ha, she is not tech savvy. She has had her Eris for 2 months now, I just was able to be in the same room with her long enough over mothers day weekend to show her how to use it properly. Even set up all her email accounts. Also, we do not live close by so I cannot get a hold of her phone. Just sit tight I am sure you will get it soon. I know how hard it is I am waiting for my Incredible to come in the mail. I am trying to be tech savvy enough for my sister and I. Ha thats why I am on both forums. :)

Honestly now? Please go back and look at all my posts and if you can pick out where I am complaining that I did not get it or whining I will be surprised. Obviously we have another person on this forum who can not read. This is an information thread (or supposed to be but people like you ruin it) for those who are curious that did not get the OTA yet. I have not once complained about not having it. Just stating that I am not yet received it like a lot of the nice people who followed this thread correctly. Please like I stated before but you had trouble reading if you have nothing to say about the thread and keeping it on topic. DON'T POST!

Its cool.
Im thinking action will pick up tonight and tomorrow morning anyway.
Glad you joined. When not in the middle of a crisis this place is very helpful, and people are usually nice. New exciting rumors and OTAs stir it up a bit though, and apparently new people are scared to even post right now.
I read here for info before making my purchase. Joined after buying, and stuck around for helpful hints and tips to get everything running just the way I wanted, then stuck around for months of OTA rumors.
Been reading here since I bought it in November. I am incredibly anxious to finally get it, although it being the same as v3 leak is kind of a buzz kill for me. Another few minutes, hours or even days wont kill anyone.

My phone number has a Pittsburgh area code, but bought my phone in Phoenix (I'm in grad school) no update yet and still running 1.5,

Verizon must have laid off their QA teams, because this rollout is BS..

Au contraire, Verizon should pay their QA teams a bonus on this rollout because we have not heard of any bricked Eris thus far. On day 1 of the Droid 2.1 rollout there were hundreds of bricked Droids and VZW immediately halted OTA to fix the bug. We waited another 2 weeks to finally get our 2.1 but I have been most pleased to not have been bricked. And am doubly pleased that my wife will not get a bricked Eris when OTA arrives on her phone in the next day or so, we have not gotten it yet here on the west coast.

To the poster who referred to instant gratification, it seems even more than just that. I sense that the impatience here stems from not having any experience at being responsible for a production release. We graybeard engineers have been whacked way too many times for a bungled production release and can appreciate the care for customers shown by VZW.

First time poster - long time lurker (really appreciate this forum - has helped me countless times)
OKC metro - have not received update.
Fingers crossedXXX

It just finished downloading. Getting ready to install...

I'm from Cali and am running stock 1.5 if it helps.
